Fall on the Shepaug River
Monday, October 26th, 2009
Washington, Connecticut. Took a long walk through Steep Rock Preserve, continuing down to Judd’s Bridge in Roxbury, then back on the other side. Fall colors were spectacular. One of our longest walks yet in this area.

A very special picture… I love the Fall colors reflected in the river with the dark trees in the foreground… nice composition.
Thanks Dianne, I’m pleased with what that little camera did. It was a glorious fall day too.
Very nice color on water, yeah autumn almost everywhere, summer gone to fast.
Absolutely Gedas, summer is gone and around here fall is happening fast. The soft maple trees are mostly bare and the oaks and red maples are the only trees hanging on to their leaves. The bad news is I have a lot of leaf cleanup to do: gutters on house (for the third time) and the yard. If I had 1 penny for every leaf we have I’d be a billionaire.
