Gogo at 37K

Just a quick note that I’m on my way to California on a United PS flight and am using their Gogo inflight wifi network for the first time. In a word: great!
Simple to use, not too expensive ($12.95 for a coast to coast trip, $7.95 for a smartphone), the network has plenty of bandwidth for everything but streaming video which is a bit slower than home but still useable.
Amazingly and coincidentally, I was chatting with a friend on another flight. Boggles the mind.
hahah so funny that you are chatting with someone else on another flight. I think it is key that there is in flight connectivity. Hopefully some day there will be connectivity everywhere.
Right Edward, it should be transparent on all devices but hey, the providers have to make as much money as possible in the transition to that day and no doubt they’re hoping it takes a long time to get there.
Apple is among them… they’re making a killing on the back end of AT&T iPhone accounts.
