Markus Schwarze has some incredible images both on flickr and on his own photo site which is excellent: Markus Schwarze – Picture of the Day.
Not only is his photography first rate but his presentation with text and graphical elements is excellent.

It’s a nice theme Greg but they’ve got nice images to flesh it out. Very nice images. Many confuse a nice looking site with nice looking photography.
Oh don’t get me wrong. I love what he’s doing with his work.
I especially like his post processing style where the subject in focus has more saturation than the bokeh.
Didn’t mean to blur the lines between nice photography and the WP theme :)
Greg: I know you know better and the connection between theme and photography is a good eye for design and presentation which some of these folks (and you) have.
these pictures are amazing so crisp and sharp.
Right Edward, they are. But, he also knows how to use shallow depth of field and compression to accentuate that. He’s a very fine photographer and graphic designer.
