Macworld iPhone 4 Cover Photo shot with iPhone 4
Monday, August 2nd, 2010
I’ve always thought it would be cool to photograph the cover of Macworld magazine using an iPhone as my camera. When the new iPhone 4 was released with the 5MP camera, the editors at Macworld were excited to see if it could be done. What better way to showcase the phone’s new camera than to have an iPhone take the photo of the iPhone on the cover?
Look at the fantastic jig he’s got for the shoot. Great documentation.

Incidentally i just ditched Windows Phone and moved to Andriod. I know it sounds surreal but its true. I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S and im loving it. The 5 MP camera on it is fantastic. ;)
Now that is cool. Love the equipment, and result!
I wonder what the camera will be like in future models… better and better.

Jon: The camera is first rate, I did over half of my photography in New York with it yesterday and I’m using it more and more on hikes. It’s not a 1D or even a Rebel but it rivals decent point and shoot cameras.
I took pictures of Gary snoring on the train home while chatting with Anne, listening to music, and answering email. The multitasking piece is killer good and one can pull the camera back up without bothering everything else you’re doing. iPhone4 is killer good.
Dilip: I’m sure you’re going to like the Android phone more than your old one. Keep me informed as you learn more about it.
