I’d say we got between a foot and a foot and a half with three foot drifts in places. Going out to do the driveway… Oh boy.

How come Anne does not look so happy? Good luck with it all! We are headed out to do the same….
Amy: Anne was happy to shovel (at that point) less happy with me interrupting her. The deck was a warm up for her, as I was snow blowing the driveway she shoveled the front walk (huge job) and the mailbox.
We’re done for the day. Tomorrow we’ll do some more as it’s blowing and I hope to get the snow off the roof as well so we don’t get ice dams when it rains on Monday. Hopefully we’ll go snowshoeing tomorrow too.

You sure got hammered with a ton of snow and I hope all that work cleaning snow will be behind you soon. And that you’ll have a great time snowshoeing!
Gary: now we have an ice and rain storm on top of the snow. Wonderful. It’s going to stop in a few hours and I’ll get out and start scraping it off. Ugh. What a mess.
