Naked light is a new image editor for the Macintosh (Mac OS 10.5 Leopard only) that looks quite interesting and there’s a free public beta available later today. I won’t be able to test it (no Leopard yet) but I’ll be interested in hearing from those of you who do.

This is a tip and/or reminder for anyone out there using Aperture.
Aperture has a feature called “Onscreen Proofing” that allows you to set the color-space (proofing profile) you’re doing your adjustments in; sRGB, Adobe RGB and any paper profiles you have installed.

iPhoto Batch Enhancer is a tool for applying the adjustment settings used in one photograph to a batch of photographs, reminiscent of Aperture. I’ve not tried it but it looks quite useful.

Serious Editing in iPhoto 6 is a PDF eBook that looks quite good (I just bought it) and updates are free forever. Given the fact that iPhoto is turning into a much more serious tool for editing an storing images and comes with little documentation, this seems like a decent investment.
